A single-jointed Kimblewick combines direct action with moderate leverage. The degree of action can be adjusted through different rein attachment options.
When the reins are applied, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and poll. The single-jointed mouthpiece allows direct action on the tongue and bars and supports clear rein aids.
